Grab yourself a cup of coffee or tea and stay awhile. I prefer coffee. With cream. And only Starbucks French Roast. I know. I’m a coffee snob.

But honestly, if you’re looking for a little encouragement, a little centering in truth, or finding a little Jesus in your day, you’ve come to the right place. In this “me too” world, I write from the chaos of reality, the changing seasons of life, and the conundrum of daily situations. My goal is simply to point you to Jesus. To remind you he is there in the middle of the moment when you think he isn’t. My hope is that you find him in the ordinary places around you – in the joyful and the sorrowful, in the mainstream and in the glorious, and in the mountaintop and the valley. The truth is we need him and we need each other. Let’s journey together as we process life.

I hope you’ll join me for Monday Meditations. This devotional provides a few simple words to help us pause, reflect, and begin again as we springboard into our weekly work, school, or home chaos. You’ll find some thoughts, a prayer, and a Bible verse you can return to and use daily for finding calm, direction, and hope.

Also in the works is Letters to My Girls. As my daughters grow up and prepare for marriage, grad school, or living on their own, I want to leave them with a legacy of motherly advice. I want them to be able to return to our “conversations” when they need a little encouragement and support. I am looking forward to sharing our journey as I share my heart with them. Keep a lookout for the release of “Letters” coming soon.

If I can pray for you or chat with you, shoot me an email. I’ll do my best to let you know I see you, I’m with you, and that we are in this Christian life together.
